All In Ones

All in one nappies are nappies that contain the nappy and wrap in one. These are the most similar to disposable nappies as the waterproof layer is attached to the absorbent core. It fastens with either aplix (Velcro) or poppers depending on brand.

Advantages

  • Ideal for quick changes
  • Easy for carers to put on, so popular with nurseries

Disadvantages

  • Dries slower than other styles so will need more nappies
  • Different sizes required as your child grows
  • Only one elasticated barrier against leaks
  • Due to the fact that the whole nappy needs washed after each change, these nappies are not as hard wearing as others and will probably not last more than one child
  • The most expensive style of nappy but will still save you money over disposable nappies
